European Nursing Module - Scambi internazionali di breve durata per la promozione dell’interculturalità

The project aims to promote in students enrolled in the Bachelor of Nursing degree program reflective thinking on awareness to intercultural approach. This is the subject of an ongoing process that is an integral part of the skills required. Through short-term international exchanges, the student has the opportunity to engage with health professionals in different settings, in different countries, and to interact within a student group with fellow students coming from different countries and educational institutions.
The ENM network, through the collaboration of partner universities, offers to the students in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program the opportunity to carry out a two-week mobility in a health care facility in another country and partecipate in seminar activities, supervised by tutors from the host university.

- Develop an understanding of the concept of identity, diversity and culture and the impact these have on professional practice;
- Foster awareness of one's own cultural identity and respect for the cultures of others;
- Promote understanding of the influence that diverse factors have on one's own and others' culture and professional roles;
- Support students in recognizing the international dimension of nursing knowledge.
