A geriatrician and cardiologist, he is a full professor in the Department of Experimental and Clinical Medicine at the University of Florence. He holds a PhD in clinical pathophysiology of ageing and was president of the Italian Society of Geriatrics and Gerontology (SIGG). His research interests include ageing, cardiovascular disease and innovative interventions for the well-being of the elderly.
 
Participation is for free and registration is not required.

The conference will be held in Italian.

Given the limited number of parking spaces, participants are encouraged to travel by public transport.
