November 27th, 2025
from 12.00 to 14.00
The project, developed as part of doctoral research in environmental psychology on the perceived value of natural public spaces, has as its main objective the creation of a tool that allows for the investigation of the relationship between citizens and public spaces, with particular attention to the perceived and attributed value of these places, through the analysis of psychological, social and environmental variables.
Two case studies were developed as part of the research: the first on the island of Poveglia (Venice) and the second on the Parco delle Gole della Breggia (Chiasso). These two contexts were chosen to compare different bottom-up enhancement approaches and to observe two distinct applications of tools for engagement and analysis of the value attributed to places.
