Bringing ideas together and creating added value is an event organized by the Swiss Organization for Participation, SUPSI, and Consultati; an event designed to foster open discussion on participatory practices and the experiences emerging across the region.

The meeting is intended as an informal opportunity for exchange, aimed both at those who work on participatory processes on a daily basis and at those who wish to learn more about collaborative projects. It is a chance to share experiences, discuss common challenges and forge new connections between people and organisations committed to fostering participation.

The programme includes a presentation by the organisation “Participare”, followed by a sharing of practical experiences from Ticino and an open discussion with participants to gather ideas, practices and reflections from the local area.

Among the initiatives presented, Francesca Cellina, a senior researcher at SUPSI, will outline the main findings of the international SPECIFIC research project and the pilot scheme carried out in Bellinzona to encourage cycling.

The meeting provides a further opportunity to highlight the work carried out by SUPSI in the field of research and social innovation, contributing to the development of participatory practices that are increasingly effective and rooted in the local context.
