Internship position for the professional practice year
Parco San Rocco
San Rocco Park is a facility dedicated to the care of elderly people who are no longer able to look after themselves, as well as a vibrant space for socialising, building relationships and intergenerational dialogue.
We are looking to the future by supporting the development of the next generation, which is why we want to contribute, right from the start, to an educational programme in which we believe, by offering an internship to those wishing to enrol on the Bachelor of Science in Sustainability and Systemic Transition at SUPSI.
John Gaffuri
The Foundation’s vision is to value life as a relational experience, promoting the holistic development of the individual. Today, Parco San Rocco has 320 staff members working across two residential facilities (Morbio Inferiore and Coldrerio), with a total of 189 beds, in addition to outpatient and home care services. In our approach to care, we integrate all dimensions of sustainability — economic, social and environmental. We always prioritise the quality of care and support, whilst offering services open to the wider community: pre-school, restaurant, bakery, conference room and activity spaces, hairdresser, doctor’s surgery and gym. In 2020, we published our first Sustainability Report, a key tool that has enabled us to measure and understand the economic, social and environmental impacts of our work.
