Virtual reality (VR) and Learning Analytics enable trainee and serving teachers to practise safely and reflect deeply on their teaching skills. The project collected data on teachers' visual, motor and verbal behaviour during simulated lessons in VR, also integrating the analysis of video recordings.
The presentation will illustrate the specially developed VR LAVIR platform and Learning Analytics. The results of pilot experiments conducted with the University of Johannesburg and the Department of Education and Learning / University of Teacher Education at SUPSI will be shared.
