She has a PhD in computer engineering from the Politecnico di Milano focused on prosodic-vocal analysis, a degree in Engineering from the University of Pisa and a two-year specialization in Electronic Music and Audio Technologies.
Since 2014 she has been an audio forensics expert actively cooperating with the Swiss and Italian Law Enforcement Agencies to optimize the use of audio recordings in the investigative phase. She also plays guitar and sax in various artistic projects.
Sonia Cenceschi is a researcher at the Digital Forensics Service of the Department of Innovative Technologies of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) where she deals with audio and speech analysis for the clinical and security fields.
