On Friday 12 April, there will be the third Nursing Innovation and Research Day at the Campus Est USI-SUPSI in Viganello. 

With this event, organised in collaboration with SUPSI, the Ente Ospedaliero Cantonale (EOC) aims to show and share the many contributions that nurses make in the various areas of care and assistance, both from the point of view of research and innovation in clinical practice.

A number of lecturers and researchers from the SUPSI Department of Business Economics, Health and Social Care are taking part in the event, including 

• Monica Bianchi, head of SUPSI Master Nursing
• Carla Pedrazzani, head of SUPSI Bachelor Nursing
• Maria Caiata-Zufferey, head of Competence centre for care, health and society (CARES) 
• Loris Bonetti, lecturer at SUPSI Master Nursing
• Tiziana Sala De Filippis, senior researcher at Competence centre for care, health and society (CARES) and lecturer at SUPSI Bachelor Nursing.

Will also be present:

• Nancy Brusorio e Agnese Chizzoni, graduates of the SUPSI Bachelor Nursing, who will present their thesis work entitled “Siblings: i bambini ombra. Interventi efficaci per la presa in carico. Una revisione di letteratura”
• Antonio Palermo, graduate of the SUPSI Master Nursing, who will present his thesis work entitled "Identification of the components of a complex intervention for the development of clinical leadership of the clinical nurse specialist: a qualitative study"
• Tazio Previtali, graduate of the SUPSI Master Nursing, who will present his thesis work entitled "Analgesia in pre-hospital care, quo vadis? An implementation study".
• Other graduates of the SUPSI Master Nursing who will present posters of their thesis works

The conference will take place from 8:30 to 17:00 and it will only be possible to attend in presence.
