Taxation continues to confirm itself as a rapidly evolving field, shaped by new public financing needs, increasing international cooperation, and taxpayers’ choices that are ever more influenced by controls and transparency.
The discussion will focus on
- the role of lump-sum taxation regimes for high-net-worth individuals in the international context
- mutual assistance in tax collection between States,
- the choice of domicile between tax planning and the risk of tax audits
- the role of taxation in financing new cantonal expenditures arising from the initiatives approved by the Ticino electorate on 28 September 2025.
The study day will feature technical presentations, contributions from tax authorities, and open discussion sessions, with dedicated opportunities for audience participation.
There will also be ample networking opportunities thanks to the standing lunch, coffee breaks, and the final aperitif, creating an ideal setting for dialogue among professionals, academics, and institutional representatives.
