A. Ruggero - A tailored partnership in HR
SUPSI Image Focus
Alessandra Ruggero is HR Specialist at Zambon Switzerland SA, with many years of experience in multinational contexts. She firmly believes in education as a fundamental asset for retention and for developing a company's core competencies.
How did the collaboration with the Department of Innovative Technologies (DTI) for this Continuing Education partnership come about?
The partnership with SUPSI is solid. We have among our employees former SUPSI students who approached us during their studies, participated in targeted and training projects and, on many occasions, still continue their development in the company today.
What business need drove you towards this path?
We turned to Antonio Bassi, Head of DTI's Continuing Education and an excellence in the field of Project Management, because, although we are not interested in creating an in-house nursery of Project Managers, we consider the methodology useful to face an increasingly challenging future, as if the present in the rigid pharmaceutical world is not challenging enough already.
What are your first impressions of this first edition in progress?
We will use this first edition as a pilot to refine the formula and/or export it to other locations within the group. We were able to customise the content by parameterising it to the target group of young, talented employees who manage other resources, and this was very helpful in offering content that was tailor-made for us. I can currently confirm a high degree of satisfaction among the participants, who number around 20. The possibility offered by SUPSI to record lectures, share multimedia content and manage the classroom with participants in attendance and remotely connected was excellent.
If you had to describe this experience with adjectives, which ones would you choose?
