The 10th edition of the FraMCoS - Fracture Mechanics of Concrete and Concrete Structures international conference held from 23 to 26 June 2019 at the Campus of the Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour in Bayonne (France) has come to an end.
With the participation of more than 200 experts and researchers from around the world, the most important developments in concrete fracture mechanics and its structural applications were presented in 11 mini-symposia and 6 parallel sessions.
Professor Ezio Cadoni, head of the SUPSI DynaMat Laboratory, gave the key-note in the opening plenary session on the topic "High strain-rate response of UHPFRC in support of impact-resistant structural design". Further international recognition for the laboratory for its cutting-edge research in the field of critical infrastructure security.
