March 21st, 2024
from 17.30 to 19.00
Laying the foundations for high-quality digital education and fully equipping the school so that activities can continue independently in subsequent years. This is the aim of EDUCO, a digital education project for pupils in kindergarten and primary schools, promoted by the Collina d'Oro municipality and implemented by the Department of Education and Learning / University of Teacher Education (DFA/ASP) of SUPSI and the Centro risorse didattiche e digitali (CERDD) of the Dipartimento dell'educazione, della cultura e dello sport (DECS) of Cantone Ticino.
By means of workshops dedicated to digital and technology, all classes at the institute will have the opportunity to explore the topic in depth together with teachers, with the accompaniment and support of experts from the Laboratory media and MINT of SUPSI and CERDD. Five workshops will be offered during the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 school years: a workshop on approaching computational thinking and technology in kindergarten, a programming workshop, an educational robotics workshop, a digital media workshop and an open-air investigation with technology workshop.
During the evening presentation of the project, it will be possible to follow the two classes as they independently design and implement their activities and illustrate the type of work they are doing as part of the EDUCO project.
