May 7th, 2026
from 12:00 to 14:00
In recent years, distance learning has established itself as a structural element of education systems, reopening wide-ranging pedagogical and cultural issues. This event, part of the Breakpoint series of meetings, offers an opportunity to reflect on the experience of Radiotelescuola from its beginnings until its suspension in 1993 from three perspectives: historical, testimonial and documentary, highlighting its links with school subjects, teaching practices and technological transformations.
Audio, video and archival sources, many of which are preserved in the Library of the Department of Education and Learning / University of Teacher Education (DFA/ASP), allow us to reinterpret this experience as a turning point in the history of education and schooling. The aim of the meeting is to offer tools for understanding the current evolution of digital teaching, also in light of historical memory.
