The National “New Future” Day is an initiative dedicated to teenage girls and boys who want to explore different professional fields. The goal is to offer them a change of perspective, encouraging them to follow their interests and talents.
During this day, young people will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in work environments where their gender is usually underrepresented. This approach aims to promote greater awareness and freedom in choosing a career path, counteracting stereotypes that can still influence educational and career decisions today.
“Nuovo Futuro” is a cooperative project between schools, the world of work, and parents, which supports gender equality in life and career planning. In the Canton of Ticino, the initiative is aimed at students in the 2nd and 3rd years of middle school.
SUPSI has been actively participating in the Day for years with a series of proposals designed to stimulate young people's curiosity and interest in innovative and inclusive professions.
