November 12th, 2025
from 09:00 to 16:30
The Tax and Legal Competence Centre(CCTG), the Continuing Education in Social Work of SUPSI, and the Ticino Chamber of Mediation are organizing a study day as part of the continuing education program recognized by the FSM and FSA, aimed at exploring the topic of commercial mediation.
Mediation, as an alternative method of conflict resolution, allows parties to settle disputes outside the judicial context with the assistance of a neutral facilitator. As such, mediation can be used in various areas, including economic relationships. Commercial mediation enables partners to find solutions together that take into account the legal, economic, personal, and financial contexts.
This method aims to preserve the contractual relationships established between the parties. It is particularly suitable for long-term contracts or whenever the parties have an interest in maintaining their business relationship. How can parties access mediation? What benefits does it offer to contracting partners? What is the interaction between mediation and litigation?
