The new issue of the journal Didattica della matematica. Dalla ricerca alle pratiche d'aula (Mathematics Education: From Research to Classroom Practice), edited by the Competence Centre for Mathematics Education and published by the Department of Education and Learning / University of Teacher Education, stands out for its wide variety of content, both in terms of the school level it addresses and the type of content it offers.
The topics covered are many and varied: from the use of technology to promote learning, through the analysis of the results of standardised international surveys and a focus on attitudes to mathematics, to the application of the Universal Design for Learning approach. This variety is testament to a particularly stimulating research and fieldwork environment.
As usual, the issue contains three articles in the ‘Reflection and Research’ section and four articles in the ‘Teaching Experiences’ section, aimed at all school levels, from nursery school to university. Finally, there are five reviews of books on mathematics teaching.
The 17th issue, like previous editions, can be consulted on the journal's website: www.rivistaddm.ch
