Every year, second-year students on the Bachelor’s programme are offered field trips around the Ticino region with the aim of developing the skills needed to plan and lead school trips for Year 4 and Year 5 primary school classes.

Reinforcing map-reading skills, calculating walking times and distance covered, preventing accidents, administering first aid and assessing weather conditions are just some of the topics that the students tackle and explore during this intensive week, which centres on the subject of environmental studies.

We wish the pupils setting off today for Rodi Fiesso an enriching learning experience and would like to take this opportunity to look back on the 2025 edition as we retrace the trails around Cadagno and the St Gotthard Pass.
