Once again this year, SUPSI is taking an active part in the initiative, organising a number of stands and small information stations on the subject within its departments for the attention of students, male and female employees, where it will also be possible to taste biscuits with awareness-raising messages.
The day also includes the event "Dialogues of Respect in Relationships. Awareness and management of inappropriate behaviour" aimed at the academic communities of SUPSI and USI, with an introductory moment on the representation of harassment in the performing arts, which will be followed by a round table discussion in which the issue will be addressed from different perspectives: legal, psychological and scientific. An initiative organised by the Gender and Diversity SUPSI Service and the USI Equal Opportunities Service, in collaboration with the Accademia Teatro Dimitri.
The initiatives organised as part of this day can be traced back to SUPSI's constant commitment to equal opportunities, which includes the protection of personality and personal integrity, with the aim of protecting and supporting employees, students and staff from any form of discrimination, as well as mobbing and harassment, including harassment of a sexual nature (whether verbal, non-verbal and/or physical). On this front, SUPSI has for some time now been applying a development plan relating to preventive and intervention measures on the subject. All this in favour of a study and work climate that is respectful and careful in its relations, and of an institutional culture that is attentive to the well-being of its staff and students.
