During the experience, the group was immersed in a real-world, hands-on simulation of a business project based on the Salesforce platform, a program designed to provide theoretical and practical skills to be applied directly to the dynamic world of technology and business.
The project required understanding the challenges of the end customer, Casale SA, identifying opportunities for improvement of certain business processes, and defining the solution to meet the business requirements. The students then designed a solution using the Salesforce ecosystem using coaching from Accenture and then presented it clearly and comprehensively to the management of Casale SA.
"Offering my company as a case study has enriched not only the students, but also my professional vision, confirming the importance of sharing knowledge and guiding new generations toward discovering their potential," said Maria San Antonio, Marketing & Communication Manager at Casale. "I also reinforced my confidence in the possibilities offered by the Salesforce platform and the importance of preparing students for a future at the intersection of technology and business, leaving me excited for the future waves of change these young professionals will bring to the industry."
This collaboration between the Department of Innovative Technologies, CASALE, Salesforce and Accenture shows the power of university-industry partnerships in creating transformative learning experiences, dynamically testing the synergy between academia and the world of work.
Andrea Maria Cannata, Accenture's Technology Director, reiterated that "We could not be more proud of the students' dedication, creativity and problem-solving skills during this track. They not only met but exceeded expectations, showing their potential to drive innovation and positive change in the industry."
"The course conveyed solid skills on the subject matter, mainly because of the expertise of the lecturers and the opportunity to put what we learned into practice with the support and advice of experts. The highlight was the final project because, besides allowing us to tackle a case study right away, it also gave us the opportunity to improve our soft skills and learn a certain way of approaching and communicating with companies if working as external consultants," concluded Niccolò Quartaroli, MSE Computer Science student and participant.
