Course Text Info

Provide theoretical and practical knowledge on diseases transmitted by mosquitoes, ticks, sandflies, and biting midges, including prevention, management, and One Health strategies.

- Know the top priority vector-borne diseases and their challenges in Switzerland
- Have sound of knowledge of biology and epidemiology and the main vectors and VBD
- Can place the VBD disease issue within a complex system approach
- Have knowledge of the One Health surveillance, governance and action plans in CH

University degree or professional experience in fields related to One Health, including environmental, plant, animal and human health, social and human sciences, economics, law, etc.

Admission without a university degree or experience in One Health can be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
