Valentina Rotondi, professor in technology and public health at the Center for Practice Skills and Health Policy in the Department of Business, Health and Social Economics (DEASS), was among the speakers at the 2025 edition of TEDxSaronno, which was staged last May 25.
In her talk, entitled "Caring Changes Us and Can Change the Economy," Valentina Rotondi offered a profound and timely reflection on the transformative value of caring, not only as an individual gesture but as a lever for rethinking more cooperative and inclusive social and economic models.
Whether it is an aging parent, one's children, caring affects our brains, relational skills and community building. An invitation, addressed to all and sundry, to recognize the role of care as an invisible infrastructure and possible foundation of a new economy.
