Since the United Nations presented the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the concept of sustainability has begun to spread in public opinion. In the collective imagination, the environmental dimension is certainly preponderant, although under the umbrella of sustainability are other aspects that encompass the economy, health, sociality and culture; summarized in the 17 goals defined by the UN. We are not just talking about concepts, but about actions, organizations, thoughts, and practices of sustainability.
In the SUPSI Continuing Education podcast we will delve into some of these practices through the reflections of our speakers and the direct experiences of professionals who have made sustainability their banner. A cross-section of testimonies of how one can deal with the so-called VUCA world: a context marked by volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity, certainly effective in describing the times we live in.
Augmenta. Podcast appeals to everyone, with language that is rigorous but not serious. Ideal to listen to while engaging in sports, on the home-work commute on public transport or when standing in a column (preferably on public transport, but let's not judge...) or as background during your professional activities. We leave it up to you to decide your favorite listening venue where you can spend twenty minutes or so immersed in sustainability practices. The eight episodes that make up this series will be released weekly on major streaming platforms.

Episode 1 - Education for sustainable development.
In this first episode we start with the basics: education for sustainable development. Not only because today's students are tomorrow's professionals, but also because the thinking on which sustainability rests is useful, and probably even urgent, in the professional sphere. Before entering classrooms, the concept of a VUCA world, not surprisingly, was adopted in companies.
At the microphone Luana Monti Jermini, professor of Didactics of Geography at the Department of Education and Learning / University of Teacher Education of SUPSI, and Fabio Guarneri scientific collaborator of the schools sector of the éducation21 foundation, a national center of expertise and performance for education for sustainable development.
Augmenta. Podcast - Practices of Sustainability, is a project curated by Andrea Ramani, Federica Cameroni and Florinda Sauli.
