The Winter School took place at the East Campus in Lugano from February 9th to 13th and was organized by the PhD School in Applied Data Science and Artificial Intelligence USI-SUPSI The event represents an important joint effort to provide up-to-date skills and practical tools applicable to both research and industry settings.
Keynote speakers were: Veronica Vinciotti, Viviana Amati, Cornelius Fritz, Joris Mulder, Alessandro Lomi, Cassio de Campos, Marcello Restelli and Abdul Fatir Ansari.
Tutorials were led by: Martina Boschi, Melania Lembo, Daniele Zambon and Manas Mejari.
The sessions balanced both theoretical and applied insights, encouraging interaction with instructors and speakers. In addition, the PhD Presentations session provided an important opportunity for exchange among doctoral candidates of the USI-SUPSI School, fostering discussion and the sharing of ideas on their respective research projects.
The success of this first edition confirms the value of the initiative and strengthens the shared commitment of USI and SUPSI to promoting education, research, and innovation.
