The meetings will be led by national and international experts from different disciplines such as helping relationship, medicine, philosophy, anthropology, spirituality, sociology and pedagogy. The aim of these lectures is to provide, through the personal experiences and life narratives of experts, meaningful insights for the ethical development of participants, stimulating reflections that can enrich their individual and collective growth path.
The lecture series is organized as part of the DAS training Individual and social well-being: a pathway in integrated humanities.
The evenings are held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at SUPSI in Manno, followed by an aperitif.

Neurocoscience: how thought shapes biological reality
Saturday, November 15, 2025
Speaker: Giovanni Frajese
Mental activity, emotions and body systems are not watertight compartments: they are one interactive network. Neuroscience shows us how brain circuits influence hormone production, immune health, and deep state of well-being. Through comparing scientific approach and holistic view, we explore how awareness, intention, and perception are biological tools of transformation, suggesting new avenues for future medicine.

Biological Physics, Collective Cellular Intelligence and Tissue Regeneration.
Friday, November 28, 2025
Speaker: Carlo Ventura
Cells also communicate through vibration and light, mechanisms that drive tissue regeneration. Photobiomodulation, or the use of light, can stimulate stem cells, accelerate healing, and promote heart and brain recovery. Adipose tissue has shown amazing regenerative capabilities: transplanted after mastectomy, it has enabled breast reconstruction and the return of sensitivity. This effect arises from the cooperation of different cells that create internal communication networks. Research is opening new perspectives for regenerative and personalized medicine.
