Artistic languages in middle school are at the heart of learning in visual education and the plastic arts. By focusing on images, the two disciplines can also engage with cultural and social situations of general educational significance. The arts, in every time and place, have always represented ways of understanding and relating to the world. The works selected at the Pinacoteca Züst by teachers training for the Master in Secondary Education, in the usual research-training formula “Museum Experience”, are no exception.
Inspired by the works of Giovanni Serodine, Antonio Rinaldi and Gioachimo Galbusera, the four teaching paths mediate between the educational requirements of the disciplines and the educational horizon of Citizenship, Culture and Society, Biosphere, Health and Wellbeing, Economy and Consumption, the three general educational contexts identified by the Study Plan to define the phenomena that characterise the issues related to sustainable development goals.
