The evolution of Artificial Intelligence technologies is redefining teaching and learning models, introducing new educational mediation tools that are potentially relevant for the inclusion of students with Special Educational Needs, such as those with specific learning disorders, disabilities, and linguistic and socio-cultural disadvantages.
During the meeting, the main AI solutions applicable to the school context, such as reading and writing support systems, will initially be reviewed. This will be followed by an analysis of case studies and good practices oriented towards universal design for learning, concluding with a reflection on the critical issues related to formative assessment, personal data protection and the educational responsibility of the teacher.
