In the Official Gazette (Education Section) of 13.09.2024, eleven private-law Foundations published the call for applications for the academic year 2023/24.

The Department of Education, Culture and Sport of the Canton of Ticino announces that all the information needed to submit applications for scholarships to these private foundations has also been published on the UAST website (Ufficio degli aiuti allo studio www.ti.ch/uast rubrica "Fondazioni private").

In fact, the Canton is not the only body to provide financial aid for education: many communes and private foundations in Ticino offer their support to deserving students and/or those in financial difficulty.

The requirements for obtaining financial aid depend on the individual Foundations, as does the deadline for submitting applications. Some Foundations focus on a certain geographical area, others on the level of study attended, others on a specific professional area.
