An increasing number of private individuals and legal entities are taking advantage of the opportunity to offer their spaces through well-known digital platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com, and others.

This rapidly expanding phenomenon has contributed to enhancing the value of vacant homes and more, offering new economic opportunities for property owners. However, it has also raised a series of regulatory issues, both cross-cutting and multilayered, requiring careful analysis and a clear understanding. Courts and administrative authorities have also had to confront this reality in various legal fields, issuing initial landmark decisions that are gradually helping to clarify and define the rules of the game.
