The training course, designed in its entirety by a special scientific committee composed of Karin Valenzano Rossi, Sharon Guggiari, Samuele Vorpe and Alberto Stival, enabled participants to broaden their knowledge in relation to the multiple activities carried out by a board member of a small and medium-sized company: from regulatory to financial aspects as well as risk management and the definition of corporate strategy and communication. A comprehensive training therefore, structured to enable board members to perform their duties to the best of their ability in the best interests of themselves, the company, its shareholders and all its stakeholders.
One feature makes this course unique: in addition to the SUPSI-ALMA diploma, there is in fact the possibility of obtaining, and this is a novelty south of the Alps, certification for board members from the Swiss Association for Quality (SAQ), a seal of quality based on an internationally recognised ISO standard.
After the welcome address by Andea Inghirami, the course's operations manager, Karin Valenzano Rossi interviewed Giovanni Leonardi, Chairman of the AET Board of Directors, former CEO of Alpiq and member of the executive bodies of several companies in Ticino and Switzerland. Afterwards, diplomas were handed out, before concluding with a toast to the important milestone.
During the evening, Fabio Sacchi presented the best graduate, Giorgio Balestra, with the Ticino Economico award. Ticino Economico is a partner of the Board Forum of Italian Switzerland (BSFI)).
