The aim is to move beyond an interpretation of racism limited to individual prejudice and to understand it instead as a structural and cultural phenomenon that also operates through discursive practices, representations, and social norms. From this perspective, hate speech is interpreted as a device of power that contributes to the construction of otherness and the dehumanization of racialized groups. It is therefore not merely a verbal excess or an isolated episode, but part of a symbolic system that reinforces stereotypes, normalizes violence, and makes discriminatory practices socially acceptable.

Through the analysis of cases drawn from public debate, the media, and digital spaces, the workshop seeks to identify the mechanisms through which hatred spreads and becomes normalized, and to provide theoretical and practical tools to recognize and deconstruct these dynamics.
