EMERGE project: the recruitment phase has ended

The recruitment phase of the EMERGE project, the study dedicated to energy management and Long COVID, has ended after 14 months. This phase involved finding people willing to register and participate in the control group.

A total of 170 people with Long COVID enrolled in the registry created for the project. Based on the characteristics of the experimental group that followed the EGE (N = 35), an additional 35 people were selected and matched from the registry who agreed to fill out the same questionnaires as the EGE intervention group, in the same six-month time frame.

Currently, the research team is analyzing the sociodemographic and clinical characteristics of participants and participants at baseline to better understand the profile of people involved in the study.

EMERGE is a project of Ruth Hersche-Cupelli, a researcher at SUPSI's Laboratory for research in rehabilitation (2rLab), funded by part of the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF).
