SUPSI Image Focus
Florinda is a scientific staff member and, in her day-to-day role as quality contact person for Continuing Education, she ensures continuous improvement in SUPSI's study courses.
In which activities are you involved in the field of quality for Continuing Education?
I am involved in a wide variety of activities: from defining the principles underlying the Continuing Education strategy or the periodic review of study courses, to collecting and monitoring various indicators, such as the number of participants in courses or their satisfaction.
What added value does the Quality Assurance System for Continuing Education (QAS) bring to the development of your activities?
It makes it possible to define the cardinal principles guiding Continuing Education, taking into account all its aspects. The System provides for the definition and construction of quality by actively involving various actors inside and outside SUPSI (e.g. course participants, staff, local companies and institutions), thus ensuring the representation of various interests.
What results are you achieving with the implementation of your SGFC?
A cascading dissemination of a culture of quality in Continuing Education: quality is first defined and transmitted within SUPSI and then disseminated externally thanks to our lecturers and participants in Continuing Education.
What does quality represent for you in your daily activities?
I try to put 'quality' into everything I do!
