Framework conditions
- 42 working hours per week;
- Possibility of part-time employment;
- Flexibilization of workplace and working hours;
- 25 days' holiday and entitlement to a sixth week's holiday on reaching the age of 55 with 10 years' service;
- Payment of salary in 13 monthly installments;
- Possibility of converting the 13th month's pay into time off;

SUPSI pursues a policy of gender pay equity and regularly certifies compliance with the Gender Equality Act (Lpar). In addition, since December 2019, SUPSI has been a signatory to the Charter for Equal Pay in Parastatal Companies. With this endorsement, SUPSI has reconfirmed its focus on promoting and enhancing its approach to fair, ethical and respectful treatment of staff and stakeholders in the area.

At all SUPSI sites, it is possible to rent parking spaces, depending on availability. Employees who use their cars for work purposes can request a fleet discount, which is subject to dealer conditions.
Bike sharing

“Mix my ride” App
SUPSI, the project leader at the national level, in Lugano, is collaborating with Lugano Living Lab, the city's urban digital and technological innovation laboratory. Launched in the Lugano, Geneva, and Winterthur-Zurich regions, from March this year until February 2024 the project will enter its experimental phase, i.e. a field test to assess its effectiveness and impact on the lives of users and the city's mobility.
