The equal opportunities strategy
SUPSI's strategy, measures and specific activities in the field of equal opportunities are defined in the four-year Equal Opportunities, Diversity and Inclusion Action Plan and in the Action Plans of Departments and Affiliated Schools.

In order to promote the principle of equality within the institution, SUPSI pursues the following objectives.

In all its actions, SUPSI guarantees an inclusive study and working environment that is accessible and respectful of all differences, in order to offer a high-quality university education to all.
SUPSI promotes institutional wellbeing and a work and study climate that respects the personality and personal integrity of its collaborators and students, free from any form of discrimination, mobbing or harassment, including of a sexual nature.
Reconciliation Promoting organisational wellbeing, harmonisation and reconciliation of study and/or work commitments with personal life, and enhancing the framework conditions for flexible study and work arrangements is part of SUPSI's social responsibility.
Counselling and Accompaniment
A Counselling and Accompaniment Service on Gender, Diversity or Equal Opportunities issues is offered to staff and student body.
Promotion of atypical professions
Concrete activities to promote equal opportunities in study and career choices by sensitising potential students, from different school orders, to conscious and gender-free education and career choices.
SUPSI promotes communication that is attentive to differences and supports the use of language that is respectful and non-discriminatory of all persons regardless of gender identity, age, origin, disability, religious affiliation, etc.

Training courses aimed at developing professional skills from a gender and diversity perspective.
