The Institute of Microbiology applies a quality management system in compliance with the Ordinance on Microbiology Laboratories (818.101.32).

The microbiological analyses for the detection of pathogens in environmental samples performed by the Regional Laboratory South are the responsibility of the holder of the Swissmedic authorization.
