Formazione Matteo Beretta-Piccoli si è laureato a pieni voti in Scienze Biologiche presso l'Università di Milano nel 2003. Dopo aver effettuato un periodo come dottorando presso il laboratorio di oncologia sperimentale dello IOSI, dal 2006 è docente e dal 2008 docente-ricercatore al DSAN e successivamente presso il Laboratorio di ricerca in riabilitazione del DEASS. Attualmente sta svolgendo un dottorato in scienze biomediche presso l'Università di Pavia.

Esperienze professionali Matteo Beretta-Piccoli è docente di neuroanatomia funzionale nei bachelor di fisioterapia e ergoterapia dal 2006. Nel 2009 ha conseguito il CAS in didattica SUPSI (10 ECTS). Dal 2008, in qualità di ricercatore, collabora e gestisce studi nel campo della fisiologia muscolare, in particolare lo studio dell'affaticamento attraverso l'elettromiografia di superficie. È inoltre autore di diverse pubblicazioni scientifiche e di presentazioni a congressi nazionali ed internazionali.
