CCA Documentation center
The Department of Business Economics, Health and Social Care and its predecessors have often and successfully worked in the field of gerontology and geriatrics. In order not to lose the wealth of knowledge acquired over the years, as well as to remain up-to-date in order to offer quality services, the Competence Centre on Ageinghas equipped itself with a documentation centre.
Through the documentation centre, the CCA wishes to open up further to the outside world,
becoming a reference point for those interested in and concerned with the elderly in Italian-speaking Switzerland.
In addition to providing documentation on our activities, as well as a whole range of information on research in gerontology and geriatrics carried out in our region, the documentation centre enables all its partners and interested bodies to exploit the potential of the university computer network in which it is included, for constant updates on the latest scientific literature. The Department of Business Economics, Health and Social Care has access to multiple databases in the field as well as the skills to select and analyse the most valuable scientific articles.
The documentation centre also wants to be an exchange platform, through which to disseminate not only literature, but also Good Practices from local practitioners.
