Some construction sites require monitoring of groundwater level, temperature, and conductivity to determine appropriate working techniques and comply with legislative norms regarding groundwater alterations during construction.
The Institute of Earth Sciences provides and installs pressure and temperature probes for such monitoring. The Institute also owns a borehole camera to verify the suitability of piezometers and/or wells.
