The Microbiology Institute provides scientific support for the control of infectious disease vectors, for the drafting of monitoring and containment plans and for the development of guidelines in the case of the importation of vector-borne infectious diseases by working together with the Cantonal Working Group on Mosquitoes and the Cantonal Medical Office.
