The event provided an important opportunity to explore the topic of the circular economy in the fashion industry with experts from academia and industry. Specifically, the companies Accenture SPA, Blumine Srl, Genuineway SA and Crimagno SA were involved.
During the meeting, the Institute of Systems and Technologies for Sustainable Production (ISTePS) shared the results of the SUPSI-Ticino Moda Report, offering an overview of the progress towards a more conscious and sustainable fashion
Afterwards, the focus shifted to sharing best practices such as end-of-life management strategies, traceability and supply chain certification opportunities, and design for circularity.
Finally, a dynamic workshop on circular economy was also proposed, promoting innovative ideas for business development projects and strengthening the fashion cluster in Ticino.
The common commitment is now to continue the path towards a circular future in fashion, working together to create positive and sustainable impacts.
