Quality development
Quality cycles are integrated into SUPSI processes with a four-year review as part of the review process.
Quality cycles are integrated into the management of basic education, continuing education, and research and development mandates, as well as into governance and support processes. Thanks to their structure, they contribute to the development of a culture of quality.
The processes are regularly evaluated internally at SUPSI using a variety of methods and timelines. Depending on the process, the evaluations may involve employees at various levels, students, continuing education participants, qualified experts, research partners, or other stakeholders.
As part of the four-year QMS review, each process undergoes a general evaluation that leads to the definition of improvement measures to be developed over the following four years.
The results of the various internal evaluations carried out during the four-year period are a key reference point for the review, which involves in-depth reflection and is an essential element for the continuous evolution of the QMS.
The four-year QMS review also includes an overall assessment of the QMS, which includes an evaluation of participation in the QMS and the integration of sustainability and equal opportunity issues into the processes.
The measures for improving the QMS are included in the institutional monitoring tool in order to keep employees constantly updated on their implementation and to ensure adequate evidence of the main results. An interim review, carried out two years after the review, allows for a coordinated assessment of their progress.
