Iterborea
Iterborea is an art installation to promote sustainable mobility on the home-school and home-work route, developed as part of the SUPStain project, the SUPSI platform for the promotion of sustainability projects by students.

You can donate your vital energy to Iterborea once a day by scanning the QR code on the installation from your phone and indicating the means of transport used to travel to SUPSI. Those who reach the campus on foot, by bicycle or public transport will fill up with vital energy along the way, which can then be donated to help Iterborea grow. On the other hand, those who reach SUPSI by car or motorbike unfortunately have no vital energy left to donate to Iterborea - they have lost it all in the traffic on the way!
To grow well and soon, Iterborea needs the energy of everyone! It is simple and straightforward to do this in the morning when you enter the campus. And when you leave in the evening to go home... it's worth taking a look: will it have grown?
The Iterborea installation was running on an experimental basis at the SUPSI-DACD Campus in Mendrisio for a month, between November and December 2022. If successful, it will be replicated on the other SUPSI campuses.
If you have any questions, suggestions or proposals about Iterborea, please write to us at supstain@supsi.ch. We are happy to receive your suggestions for improving Iterborea
