The promotion of an experimental device aimed at establishing a professional learning community in visual and plastic arts education teacher training.                            

Mission and objectives

In the SUPSI mandates of Undergraduate and Graduate Studies and Continuing Education, the Area of Visual Education and Plastic Arts has as its mission the training of professionals, mainly from the local area, capable of promoting artistic and visual culture, as well as creative approaches to teaching-learning in regional, national and international contexts.

In the mandates of applied research and local services, the area maintains an ongoing dialogue with the various stakeholders involved in the training and mentoring of compulsory schoolteachers.

LThe Area collaborates with various museums throughout the region (Ghisla Art Collection, Museo Vincenzo Vela, Museo d’arte della Svizzera italiana, Museo Villa dei Cedri) and associations (Associazione Antonio Ciseri 2021) in the creation of teaching notebooks.
